N44305's usual short and to the point, let's get back to the flying, annual inspection yesterday was rudely interrupted by the discovery of pinholes in the exhaust pipes (both sides) which, in the case of the right side, were readily turned into finger sized holes with a little digital pressure. In addition to the revelation of having to move the engine and mount away from the firewall to remove that dang one piece assembly, the old through-bolted flexible metal ductwork was a bit of a PITA, too.
No reason not to replace that with SCAT ducting, is there?
