  • landing gear bumpers

I am able to acquire a batch of landing gear bumpers, cut to fit. If anyone is interested, I will make an order. I need 2 sets so I have to order 5 sets to make the order. Tim

Do you have an estimated price yet? I might be in for a set or two.

Should be about 17, or just under each plus shipping.

In that case I'll take. 2 sets. On second thought lets make it 3.

Just to be clear, these will be the axe handle rubber bumpers that you have to trim down to make work.

Tim, you first advise they are cut-to-fit, I cannot determine after you last post if they are coming already cut-to-fit or the owner has to do so. Thanks.

The owners or mechanics will have to cut them to length and how high up they fit on to the gear support. Its the axe handle bumpers that most of us have used for decades since I know of no other source of a rubber extrusion that even comes close and not the price of a kidney...

I will let this go through the weekend then I will make the order. I also asked on the FB page so I have like 40 of these to buy and I am paying out of my own pocket so I hope everyone that needs them will take them. Tim

Are axe-handle savers going out of fashion, Tim, for you having to source a batch?

It's a while since I bought any (I have a few in stock) but perhaps they're just not being made any more?
