The previous owner of my airplane documented the restoration process with tons of pictures. Among those pictures was that of a prewar factory sales ad showing an airplane with overall silver color with a red stripe. He used this image as source material to duplicate the current paint scheme. But that's incidental to the purpose of this post...
There is a close up shot of the registration number of the airplane in the ad and it happens to match my airplane. So I'm trying to determine if this was photoshopped or done as a semi - custom print after the fact, or was my airplane used as the basis for factory advertising?
So, is anyone familiar with the ad that shows a silver with red Prewar T-craft, 3/4 view from right/front sitting on a snow covered field? If so, is the registration showing NC26528?
Many thanks!
