I bought this prop online and I probably got a little bent in shipping. Ended up just getting it rebuilt at Sensenich, now it's good as new with a logbook. Took off a 74 ck 0 38, this new one to me is a 44, it does cruise better now.
Tim, going fro 46 pitch to 43 INCREASED cruise? That kind of surprises me. I would have expected a loss of cruise and increase in climb and takeoff performance with a decrease of pitch.

Having worked on and adjusted the pitch on quite a few SLSA aircraft with ground adjustable propellers I can attest that often a reduction in pitch will increase both climb and cruise performance. It is all about letting the engine turn a higher RPM to develop its horsepower. I know it is counter intuitive, but that extra pitch will only increase speed if you have the horsepower to pull it.
