What power you apply is your choice in any aircraft. The rest is whether or not you want to remain certificated or experimental. There is a reason holders of the C-85 Stroker STC claim no increase in power even though it may on occasion happen.

Reply to O-235 stcby PA1195Limit the power to +10% via rpm. Fuel flow may have to be increased via changes in fuel line diameter and minimum fuel in the main tank maintained (3 gallons for example).
