    What power you apply is your choice in any aircraft. The rest is whether or not you want to remain certificated or experimental. There is a reason holders of the C-85 Stroker STC claim no increase in power even though it may on occasion happen.

    to install an O-235 and only get an extra 6.5hp isn't worth the effort. I think the "experimental exhibition" is about the only way I can go. There will have to be major changes to the fuel system, maybe remove the main tank and tie the wing tanks together then add a tank behind the seat with...

    Limit the power to +10% via rpm. Fuel flow may have to be increased via changes in fuel line diameter and minimum fuel in the main tank maintained (3 gallons for example). Noise limits come into play as well. To meet W&B they reportedly had to add 8# to the tail. Moving the battery aft might also...

    I am thinking of doing an O-235-N2C (M) that is an engine pulled out of a Cessna A152 & up graded to an O-235-L2C than having the Sparrowhawlk STC. done to it for 125hp. the way I think I am going to have to do it is by going the '' experimental, exhibition " route . I a going to have an FAA...
