since mine is down for an extensive annual and it is perfect tail dragger flying weather here in the southwest I have decided to buy another Taylorcraft to fly.

If I am lucky I should have it flying before N43122 gets out of annual! For those of you guys who fly RC, this is a must have. at $100 for the pre-built kit and a "little" more for motor, speed control, and radio how can you not have one!?

The best thing is you don't need a field approval for that skylight and you could put big tires on if you wanted, or anything without a field approval, that would be good. I like that.

Not to mention it is electric so look at what you will save in gas.

YES! I have to have one of these to hang up in my den just so I can look at it! My last plane was a Cessna 195A before medical required me to try LSA and my wife bought for me and had framed a beautiful picture of the Cessna 195. Would have been nice to have the same for the Cessna. The detail looks great. When you look at the pictures on the website it is hard to distinguish it from the real deal.

I started a thread on this one a couple days ago. I'm thinking I might have to try one as well. The problem is all my electric gear is a bit small for this one. I've also been thinking about a 100cc 1/3 scale tweaked for IMAC, but I haven't got to far on it yet. Tom

I have a 25% scale BC12-D that I built about 3 or 4 years ago. Weighs in at about 13lb. It was a Lanier kit. I built it as the original long wing version (no clipped).

I originally flew it with a Zenoah G26 gas engine. Converted it last year to a Hacker Brushless motor on 5s10000 lipo pack. Clean reliable power!

How come it has a aeronca rudder? and cub style cowling...still looks fun though....maybe someday I will get enough hand eye coordination to learn to fly one of those things...Tim

I have a DPM(dave patric models) 1/4 scale clipped wing super cub and it is fantastic. I bought it as an ARF and the scale and quality is second to none for an arf. It has a spring steel 3 leaf t/w spring,real life working bungee gear that really do work and it is one of the easiest airplanes I have ever flown and I love flying it. I also have a 1/3 scale Waco that I built several years ago.It is a big awsome airplane but very nerve wrecking to fly.It flies great but it is so big,so beautiful,so much time invested,and so,so,so expensive to replace if I do wreck it that it just makes me nervous when I do fly it. It also has a Europiean made 7 cylinder radial engine on it that is a little troublesome to get fired up....but once she's running it is a sweet little engine and an amazing sound.

by the time you get motor, esc, battery, radio, servos, charger, etc Probably around $350
