These look a lot like BC-12D fairleads. Same outside diameter as original with slightly more wall thickness. Genuine phenolic.
Make then by chucking the phenolic tube on a dowel, spin it in a drill press while dragging a needle file on the tube. This process takes about 10 minutes per piece. If you don't have a big honking drill press then wrap masking tape around a reasonably large dowel until the dowel is built up enough to hold the tube. A little more tape holds the tube to the dowel on one end while you groove the other end.
Taylorcraft needs ten of these. I will provide 12 pieces of tube, cut to length but not grooved for 10 bucks and I'll pay shipping in the CONUS. You can screw up two of them learning to cut the grooves yourself -- really you don't want to pay 2 hours of A&P shop rates for someone to cut the grooves now do you?
