The covering is relatively forgiving, but the leading edges may oilcan once the covering is on and wing wash adjusted.
So good practice to block the sawhorses to the approximate wash while installing the leading edges and tensioning the fabric.

I never worried about it either. One might argue that the wings shouldn't be straight at all!
My wings had a "set" from all their years when I re-fabricked (sp) them. Excerpt from my blog of many moons ago:
"One of the things very noticeable is a "set" in the wing, after nearly 60 years of washout in each wing.
Here, the wing tip lays on a trestle... both wings like to settle with the wash-out set into the shape."
