I was thinking that there was a slight change to the fuselage width at the elbows or shoulders, and a move away from the seat sling to a sliding seat. I don't know if it was a noticeable change for pilot comfort.
Stand to be corrected but I was under the impression that the fuselage is for all intents and purposes the same. Having said that there are several variables that will effect leg room and headroom and distance from the panel.
The rudder cable length will change leg room. Seat cushion thickness will change legroom, headroom and distance from the instrument panel. Headliner if installed can decrease headroom both vertically and left-right.
steel tube structurally they are basically the same. The difference is in the doors and door jambs starting with the F-21A or B. ABout 4" wider at the shoulders. Straight F-21 is identical to BC12-D.
