It has been 20 years since i seen my trim handle on my BC-12-D but if my memory is correct i found the correct replacement It is for a 49 to 52 Chyrsler window crank. I found it on ebay. If it is the correct one you can buy all you want. They are repo handles. Just search for 49 to 52 Chyrsler window crank handle. Let me know if this is the correct one. Marv

Re: Trim Handle B C12-D
Model A window riser. One of these is almost an exact match, I will have to look at my receipt. I utilized the escutcheon, too.

Re: Trim Handle B C12-D
The trim handles on both my 45 and 41 (both the same) were used on several old cars from the mid 30s on to well after the war. I found some that were exactly the same that were shown to come from a mid 30s Ford.

Lots of car manufacturers used the same small parts like window winder handles. Wish I could find some of the exterior 41 door handles! The 41 exterior one is in the middle.

Re: Trim Handle B C12-D
Seems like all the handles and knobs on Taylorcrafts came from cars from the same eras. One of the early Taylorcraft factories was supposed to be bicycle distance from a factory parts suppler for (I think) Studibaker. Also have found lots of things from Ford and Chevy cars and trucks. If we know where they bought the parts for one thing, might be a link to another.
