I used this company when I recovered my airplane, back in 04, I heard that they were sold and I have not confirmed their quality YET, I have a compass that I am going to send them.

B-16 is a compass specification, Airpath, Kollsman and Pioneer made them for Army, Navy & British use. I think B-16 is an Army spec which then became AN-C-79. They are the big bulky ones mounted up in the windshield frame that followed the bubble compass use.

That's good price for a B16 overhaul.

I paid $285 to overhaul my B16's plus an additional dial refinish fee.

I still have one B16 left, it was overhauled last summer or fall. Would like to sell it. I no longer have a need.

That is the B-16 with the lighting, mine does not have the light. I was doing checking to see if the lit ones were used, too. No definitive answer, yet.
