    BC12-D we have in the shop has these. They are completely welded on the bottom side, the top looks just like yours.

      are they welded only on one side? That would be normal

          that is correct for post war. its part of gross weight increase. If you was doing the gilberti/bowden f-19 stc to a prewar, you would have to add them.
