Or go to Ebay and search "Rochester oil pressure gauge"
Checking them out and thanks for all the info. I will still try to get it repaired as the more original everything is the better.

I have some good news! I fixed it.
So unscrewed the oil temperature probe and more or less leveled the plane with a 3 ft ladder holding the tailwheel.
Then added some oil using a plastic tube through where the probe goes. Maybe 2 oz....
When it ran it showed nice pressure. That's all that was needed!

It will de-prime again unless it is run frequently.

The more wear the pump gears, shaft, housing, and cover have, the sooner it will de-prime after running.

straight weight oil may help a little.

the fix requires removal of the accessory case to dismantle and repair the pump. Worst case scenario is that the housing, which is part of the case, is scored or worn. The case will need to be sent to have metal added and re-machined. The shaft gears and cover were available from Fresno NOS. I don't know current status.

Tip: if and when it de-primes again, just lift the tail high, like above your head. Stay in that position for at least a minute (this will sometime attract spectators wondering about your state of mind). Put the tail down and start the motor. There's usually enough residual oil in the oil screen etc. to prime the pump.

I'm confused, so please forgive me. Is it the oil temperature gauge or the oil pressure gauge that is the issue here? Anyway, if you have fixed it that's great.

It was the oil pressure that was the issue. He removed the oil temperature bulb and squirted oil into the screen housing to provide a prime for the oil pump. Once he started the engine after the prime he had oil pressure.
