This summer I tried to set up an Aviator account so I could register my engine and have access to the manuals, technical support docs and be on the mailing list for service bulletins, etc...
The website would not accept my engine serial number and it won't let you set up an account without validation of the engine. I called support and they said the website was in process of updating and that the old serial numbers would be loaded over time and to try again over time. They were quite helpful.
However it never worked. Another call recently and the tech support guy went through all his online databases and found my serial on at least 4 engines but not my A65. Again quite helpful support. In the meantime he emailed the latest A & C series manuals. They may still find it at some point.
I sent in photo of data plate via email support and asked if they could set up an account and send me the login info. They did do this and I have access to tech docs and A & C series manuals.
So if you try and set up an account and it doesn't work it is that our vintage serials are being lost to time which is not surprising. But they will work with you to get you access. Helpful support each time.
