Long story, but getting this plane. Not sure yet what will be required to get flying again. Based in Gulf Shores AL.

Not many of these around, any thoughts?

I keep trying to send you a private message but the system keeps dumping them before I can send them.

Is this the one that belonged to an instragramer?

I have some info on her in the database but not much more than the N number and serial number. She is one of the planes that fell off the list. Really like to see what shape she is in and how she can be made airworthy again!

Got your message, replied directly. Let me know ya got it.

          Don’t know about the instagrammer….

Its been in a hangar the last 10 years? Last annual 2018. Currently physically apart to take less hangar space. I’ll have it and will survey within 3 weeks or so.

Looks ok. Complete. Wings redone about 19 years ago due to a storage incident. Thinking worst case gonna need fuse recover.

not the same plane then, he wrecked his couple years ago and then parted some of it out.

The wings of F21A N2006S were walked on during its recovery but I was lucky to reshape some ribs and find others. I rolled my own leading edges. Click image for larger version

ID:	196702 One correction I made was to secure the wing tanks by strapping them between the 4130 rib top and bottom clamps rather than riveting to the vertical tabs on the tanks. The factory way fatigued the vertical tabs under load causing cracks and leaks in the tanks.

I should have mentioned that F21A N2006S is serial number F 1502 manufactured in 1982/83 which puts it one ship ahead of Tango.
