  • Why?

Why does this forum subtitle time and lock one out so quickly? I have tried to ask the administrator but get no reply. Is anyone out there listening?

One cant even type that fast!

I don't post in this subtitle often, but I have never had any issues. In fact I have not experienced any of the other issues that people complain about, such as the double post issue.

I don't have any of those problems either.

Huh. Times me out saving about a paragraph then I have to log in again. When posting it gives me the error message 4303 and will not post.

I would suggest that before you hit the post button that you highlight your post and select copy. That way it saves what you have typed. Then if you get the error you can back out and start over by pasting what you typed and then posting. A couple steps that might save you some frustration.

To be fair, I don't think EXPlanes should have to do that. To my knowledge, it's not been an issue before.
I am slowly writing this response to make sure it's not a time-out issue with the forum software.
In fact I'm going to record the time of this writing: 1824UTC

              ...and post again at 1830UTC

If this is posted, EXPlanes, I think the problem is at your end.

...and ten minutes later I'm still here without any issue.

As a suggestion: Log out then log back in again (like CTRL+ALT+DEL so to speak).
I remember driving a rental car in Utah in 1991 that just died on me. The mechanic disconnected the battery & reconnected it; all was well after that. Cost me $100 back then for the priviledge of learning.

Thanks for the input. I will keep trying.
Does anyone know what the error code means?

4303? It must be an error on your server/email/whatever. I'd suggest it's an error at your provider's end, not the VBulletin end.

But you wrote that last message OK?

yes, short messages get through. If I write longer ones and try to post it says I need to log in again and then when posting it tells me the error message.

This is the only site I have this issue. I cannot duplicate it on others.
Anyway I will continue to work on it and if successful will let you know.

                          Thanks,
