    I see the same thing.

Also wonder what Bob O. thinks about this?

Is it financial problem? A support problem? a not enough time to address it problem?

He may have said the answer before but I forgot it.

last time i looked into this i couldent find anything wrong on the VB installation or system, and no mention of anyone else having the problem on the VB support forums. I'll look again.

are you seeing a PHP error message that stays on your screen for a few secords and then clears?

Yes, this gig pays so well i've been spending all my time in Vegas...

Here is what I get immediately after making a post.

If you instinctively hit enter or scroll down and press submit then I get a double post.

The second picture shows how the advance edit screen is messed up.

Maybe that is why I don't get double post, because I don't instinctively hit submit again.

sure and that is good but the code should not work that way as many will instinctively hit it again for many valid reasons like they thought the first one didn't take, or they looked away and were unsure if they had hit enter...

Re: Why can't we get the software fixed on this forum?

I actually think there is an inherent instability in the VB software, because I get similar (but less frequent) problems with other fora that I use. I doubt Bob O can do anything about it, other than to make sure we are using the latest version (with any bug fixes that VBulletin make).

I think VB is owned by Internet Brands, but I can't confirm that. http://vbtruth.com/

I don't know if any other forum-based software would be better (say for example phpBB) or whether it's worth even moving, given the entirely voluntary (and largely thankless) work that Bob and Ted put in.

Hmm..latest 2015 vB software appears to be 4.2.2 (which is what we use here).

3.8.7 on another forum I frequent doesn't have any problems whatsoever.

I think file SIZE is the issue; I've contacted the site Admin about it, so let's see what options come forth.

There is something going on with the database, not sure what it is yet. The attachment size limits are bumped up pretty high and there still seems to be a problem with anything bigger that about 600Kbytes.

Since David agreed to take over the restoration of my Model A I have much more time to put into looking for the problem.
