Chuck,
Make sure the cable is turning to TIGHTEN the twist on the cable! My plane has a 90* on both ends so the cable TIGHTENS when it turns. If the wind opens the twist, the cable will wear out sooner.

Hello chuck I did the alt install last year. I would think about putting the electronics on the fire wall. and take the blast tube from the gen to cool them if needed...Saw it here once before. I would then mount a light battery on the fire wall other side. run the alt cable to the battery and not the bus. while talking to the b&c folks snag a grounding block for the firewall both sides. single point ground then straight to the battery. this is all way easier to do now. I could send you pics of what i have if you like

well it's been a few days and still waiting for parts have 4 orders coming and there all close if the tracking system works will get battery mounted to fire wall today and put the engine on for good today still shooting for this week end to be flying

well we did not get as much done as i wanted but got home and had boxes waiting and my new baffles were here and are they nice they were made by Airforms inc from big lake ak and I can't be happier still waiting on some bolts and P-lead kits for the mags so here are some pics from today

There is a place in Alaska I think building these like Chuck bought for his Tcraft.

The company that i got my new baffles from is Airforms Inc p.o. box 521795 Big Lake Ak 99652 Phone# 907 892 8244 Now the baffles fit perfect and I mean PERFECT and the workmanship and finish is grate he offers options like powder coating and other things there are pictors comming later on this evening

well we downloaded the photos from today first stan ray my NDT guy came and did my struts and they passed .050, 051 so there good for 4 more years then it was back on the engine started puting the baffles on they fit fine shannon worked on labeling every thing in the plane she got clear self sticking stuff and printed them on computer as i kept puting things on the engine IF THE BOLTS get here tomorrow that were coming 2 day and it's been 4 we will hang it and start the finish hookups and hope to run it friday and test fly this week end

well tomorrow is the day jest a few little things and it is start up time every thing went well on the final install fit grate and looks good here are some pics from today
