They also tend to get a bit upset at times if they happen to come in to the house and find the dishwasher full of Harley, or round engine parts... hehehe

The people at B&C are some of the nicest people i have ever delt with as far as the alternator it fits very well and the finish is grate there instructions and schematics are very well written same for there parts kits and there starter

well the new exhaust got here this morning and i put it on the engine it looks much better then the stock one

well here is what happened today moved the plane 20 mi east to kmrc Maury co air port and started the switch over to c85 was going to use old baffles but after looking the new baffles are on the way from alaska ordered from the same company that rod hanson got his from tomorrow will start by bead blasting motor mount and checking for cracks and will do test fit on plane to check for fit on fire wall and start on electrical also will repaint the fire wall

well we had a grate day the new engine fit with a starter and alternator on a short mount with about 5/8 of a inch

Only thing I can say is that you're not working hard enough if you don't get that white t-shirt dirty, and your mechanic's got way too much room in that hangar! HAHA

John that photo was very early in the morning and its a big hanger today finish painting and hang engine for good waiting on new baffles more photos tonight

Warning, to my surprise when we started my 85-12 the first time the tack did not seem to work. After the normal investigation
you know, is the cable turning etc. the brain fart passed! the tack drive rotation is reversed from the 65!! We had a reversible 90degree drive at the tack so no real biggie for us. Love my 85 as I call it (on steroids) 0200 crank and cyl'd. Have the dyno report of 97hp wow! Sure makes the Taylorcraft feel great to fly, 1000 to 1100 fpm solo and cool.
