  • My new fuel tank....

    gives me a 26hr duration and a 2500 mile range.

    Twenty six hours huh. Is that a fuel tank, or a urine tank? Or does it have a baffle where it is half and half? I couldn't do 26 hours in a T, even with a urine tank. It is fun to ponder though.

      Is fuel that expensive in Havana? Where did you get a tank like that? It get me to thinking of the possibilities.

        I was told it came off a Supercub that was used as a fish spotter in Florida. Holds 90 gallons

              Cool picture. Just made me remember something one of my buddies did. He blocked up a WWII drop tank under my Taylorcraft the same way. I took a couple of pictures of it but I think they were only on an old cell phone.

                  actually it was originally a hopper spray tank for a supercub. That looks like an Alaskan's best friend though
