Bear with me. The BC12D that I owned and had a hangar collapse on it is now completely rebuilt. (The fuselage was spared any damage.) The AI (82 years old) says that the logs show no drawing for the shut off valves or (where they should be) He claims they should be under the panel. How can that be when they are obviously up over the doors where they should be! Another question: The valves are not marked on and off as they should be. The positions are 3 0clock and 6 oclock. Is 6 oclock "on"? and 3 oclock (horizontal) off? The current owner, a retired doctor wants to fly the airplane and the AI keeps finding things he thinks are wrong. The wings have been rebuilt with new spars and the airplane is really Oskosh material! Is there anyone who can advise the AI by phone? Please let me know. Thanks JC ......
PS. Im talking about the WING tank shut off valves, not the main one under the panel. Aircraft SN 8216 N95916,1946
