Does anyone have a photo of the rear trim (pulley) assembly as installed in the airframe, that can be shared?

Re: Rear trim pulley assembly Photo
I have two questions about this. BTW, If I haven't told y'all yet, on March 1, 2011, I took my Tcraft out of service to start my recover/restore project.
My first question is about the two bolts with very thin heads in the elevator trim bellcrank assembly. Are these thin-headed bolts commercially available? Or do I have to grind down the heads of new bolts?
The second question is how do I remove the two threaded parts of the actuator assembly from the elevator frame? The little pin that seems to hold together the rightmost (male) half is in a blind hole. So I cannot push it from the other side.Last edited by TimHicks; 04-11-2011, 09:54.Tim Hicks

Re: Rear trim pulley assembly Photo
Those bolts look like AN bolts with ground or filed down heads. That is NOT what was in either of my planes. Mine had AN-23 or AN-24 Clevis Bolts (can't remember which, just get the grip right).
Not sure on the pin. Mine pushed out from the other side.

Try this;
Remove the RH side elevator inspection cover located on the RH side of the fin between the elevator and stabilizor.
Hold the elevator in the neutral position by some means.
Take a 5/8" open end wrench and put it on the nut that holds the trim pulley on
Turn the wrench gently gently counter clockwise to get the pulley & mechanism unstuck.
Then you should be able to use the trim crank.
I am doing this from memory so be aware that I might remember the wrong size wrench, it may be 9/16" but I don't think so.
I am pretty sure counter clockwise is correct.
Be gentle you are turning the staft with the cutter key here so inspect afterward to be sure the cotter key is still in good shape.
