Lost a bearing

So my father mailed my wheels out here, but he said one of my bearings was missing. I guess it got lost somewhere between removal and storage. Is there anywhere I can find one? Or does any one have an extra? Also will I need a seal? I'm hoping to change it over to wheels before I head out for a road trip that my wife and I are going on. I was hoping to also fly it into Anchorage, but may have to by a ticket cause the wx is supposed to be for a while.

Which one? I have an extra outside wheel bearing at home new in the box (be back there later tomorrow). It's yours if you have the tapered axle and need the smaller bearing.

I just got them in the mail and looked at them. I am missing both I believe, I think the seal are gone too.

The wheel bearing part numbers are:

Large Bearing: Diameter 2.3125”,
Part number (incl. inner race) 08125
Outer race part number 08231

Small bearing: Diameter 1.625”,
Part number (incl. inner race) A6075
Outer race part number A6162

These are made by Timken, and are readily available from any bearing supplier.

So could I find them at NAPA or somewhere like that? Or does it have to be from an aircraft retailer like Wag-Aero or Aircraft Spruce?

If you go to bearing supply house, tell them it is for you lawn tractor.

Some of these places "can not find the parts" if they know it is for an airplane.

I was able to get the bearings, but no one had the greas seals/dust covers. Does anyone know the part numbers for that or where I could find them? Thanks a lot for the help guys.

I just got home and have the A6075, but I see you're set with the bearings now. Mine came from a local bearing retailer as Rob suggested.

A while back I bought a set of the grease seals from Mike (Ragwing nut) here on the forum. Maybe he's got more??

Just a note if replacing the bearings: The races are staked in place, so when inserting the new ones, make sure they are secured in a similar fashion.

The races didn't fall out, just the bearings. Thanks a ton for the offer M Jones, but the local place here will have 'em out here tomorrow. One down, two to go (seals, and wx!).

I have a couple thousand outers, should never run out. I wish I had iners too.
