It seems like most T-craft are BC12-Ds made in 1946. They musta really been cranking out airplanes that year. Anyone know how many were produced?

Re: How many in 1946?
Been there too. Landed 25 miles beyond my intended on a crystal clear night! Was I surprised when instead of grass under my wheels, there was 200 ft wide concrete - and a bunch of military ships on the ramp. Luckily it was a joint use field with no tower, so I took off and found the right field.Dan Brown

OK, we'll say 4000 in 1946.
I'm writing an update on my T-craft restoration for our local EAA newsletter and I thought it might be interesting to have some BC12-D production figures from that era.Bob Gustafson

Re: How many in 1946?
Mine was built August 5th of 46' and its serial number is 9820...don't know how the serial relates to production numbers but there must have been a lot of ships built that year in anticipation of the post war flying boom that didn't happen until about 1978..hasigpic
