    I don't remember the hours on the engine, but I do remember it is a miltary overhaul, never had a cylinder off it, and I think it was fairly low time. It has been at least 10 years since we annualed it. Memory is a little foggy.

      Thanks Mike but it's not so nice looking now. It was involved in an incedent so it's in the starting stages of rebuilding again. However,it is worth all the fuss because it is the taylorcraft that my father and grandfather both learned to fly in. It has been in my family since the late 1950's.

        From what I could gather its got right at 965 hrs on it.........

              To all who may be wondering, my fathers T/Craft has been sold and I just wanted to thank everyone for their help and wonderful suggestions. I cant wait until shes flying again!!
