Here's a little trick that may or may not help:
40 years ago a friend that worked in a tire shop told me that when you have a slow leak, it's most often caused by a leaking valve. You can test it by inflating the tire and dropping a glob of spit (yes, spit, outa your mouth) into the end of the valve stem. If a bubble forms you have a leaking valve.
If so, go to the WalMart auto department and get a tire valve kit...it contains a little tool for installing/removing the valve core and a half dozen new valve cores, costs $1.69 or so.
Oh Lord, we seem to ahve lost control of this thread. I will say that out forumn does have diversity . and really not too many nasty people, actually none lately. My Dad used to tell of filling the tire with oats and adding water to get it to swell up and run on that for a while.
Those tail wheel tubes show up at Tractor Supply and many other places in a pinch they can be used .
