    Re: Replacement parts sources

Univair is worth helping. Not trying to be nasty to Taylorcraft, but, like you said, they don't talk, they don't respond, they don't produce. I say we throw our forces behind those who are interested and want our help. I have never had a bad experience with Univair and suspect if I ever did they would be great to work with to correct it.
Mike, all you need to do is ask and we will jump all over helping you get anything you need to produce parts (if we have the information, that goes for other aircraft than Taylorcrafts too). Anybody with other type planes have any ideas on those washers?

      Re: Replacement parts sources

Thanks for the nice words gents.

There are some outfits out there that might give you the time of day if you spend a ton of money with them on a regular basis. The particular aviation community we support is not particularly large when you compare it to something like car parts people and its just good business to look into as much as we can. I don't have a particular resolution right now to come up with the correct washer, but at least I'm not letting a mistake continue to go by us. That washer sale today may be a set of struts tomorrow.

I've been able to retain my employment here for 30 years largely because I think I have made a credible effort in trying to help you guys out.

I'm going to unstick this in the absence of posts in the last 6 months. Rob
