Have a question on the replacement struts. My struts are non-adjustable and in e-mailing these different companies, they all advise their replacement ones are adjustable and not all made from 4130 steel. I am rather new owner and not sure if mine are standard or not. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Are you sure they are not adjustable?
Did you look at the very top of the rear strut, the piece up inside the wing fitting?
T-Craft struts don't have that threaded fork like some other planes.
I attched some pics. I bet you have these, don't see how one could rig the plane without them.
Also if they are PMA parts or STC-ed parts you don't need to worry about they alloy the selected. ie 4130, 1015, 1025...Last edited by Guest; 10-07-2007, 06:38.

Thanks David Rude, you solved the question. I guess I don't know my aircraft as well as I should. It has the rear upper adjustment as per your photos. It is not a clip wing just the paint reminds me of the great Duane Cole. I have finish painting the tail now too. I see that the EAA has finally responded.Dennis McGuire
