    If you experience any sagging or excess vibration, it would make sense that you can add some rubber slugs or bumpers on top of the X-tubes to add some support if needed.

      now my skylight has four small steel tubes that i have to weld to the x and and small pad in the middle i dont think my skylight will sag at all

        The L-2 has a 1/2" square supporrt channel that runs between the spar carrythru so that the distance between the butt ribs and the channel is about 15 inches and curves fore and aft the same as the airfoil. And it will sag some (I've only been doing L-2's For 25 years). Dick

            I use Lexan on everything. On L2's we also use 1/8 on the flat glass and 3/32 for the curved. 1/8 is just too thick to form for me. I can also get chemicallytreated lexan which makes it even more scrathc resistant and is used alot in race cars.

              Yeas ago I made a bunch of L-2 sight gauges out of lexan. Funny thing about them, whem you filled them with gas they turned into glass and would break. Once they deird out they were OK. Dick
