We will need to coordinate with the welder to make sure there is enough work left in the parts to qualify as “owner produced” when he builds them.
I don't have the paperwork here with me, but isn't one of the five things (tests) is to supply the material??then the owner signs the logbook as the "producer" and it is airworthy, then the A&P installs it with a signoff, something like that, then as Bill O has said, the papertrail can follow the moneytrail, or was it the other way around?? Just a thought, O.T.
