Same as Len's. 833. Built in radio, Lead Battery, strobes, 3 tanks with copper tubing, small baggage, metal prop, 8.00 tires, 85HP on a short mount. Can carry myself and a 120 lb. person with just the front tank filled.
The 85 was approved on a 337 for 1200 gross only.

Mine is really heavy with an IFR panel and 42 gallon tanks she has an empty wieght 0f 1032lbs and a gross wieght of 1500. I am pretty sure it doesn't fly like a BC12D but with 118 hp it climbs great and has a solid feel to it. I love my TCraft.

Mine weighs 831 with the wood prop on and 841 with the metal prop.

Funny thing is and I have never figured it out is that the plane factory computed weight was about 750. It was always about that weight until I weighed it after adding at most 12 pounds of repairs, then it ballooned to 833/843 (later I removed a couple of pounds).

I have computed at least once the estimated weight of all post factory add on's and just can't justify the difference. It's been a mystery to me. Makes me wonder about factory computed weight or maybe I missed something an, or have bad scales. We did calibrate though however at a low weight only.

Mine has the Gilberti/Harer wing mods and is eligible for higher GW of 1280 but I never cared about doing the paperwork to increase it.

Mr. Harer claims that with the wing mods you can pick the GW you want at any value between 1280 and 1500. I must have misunderstood him regarding the very high GW of 1500. I think a value like 1280 or maybe 1300 make sense with a 65. Anybody else used the STC in this way, to up GW with an 65?

It flies just like a 46 except it don't float, climbs like a home sick angel, and cruises 10 mph faster. Other than the deafening exhaust stacks, my favorite. Ours was an '80 F-21 with almost identical weight and an ifr panel

Can anyone confirm this? I would love a Tcart certified to 1320 pounds. Or does it need to be 1319 pounds to be a light sport aircraft? What does the Harer STS say?

On the extra weight, could it be fabric and paint?
