Re: News from the Factory III
I'm still trying to get my log books updated. Given that you worked on my plane in the beginning of the "phase two" restoration, are there notations that you need to make in my books or has your work been documented already?
I spoke with Harry, again, this morning about getting my books brought current. I assured him, that if they don't get completed soon, I'll be contacting the FAA in San Antonio, TX and he'll be having to answer to them (not me). Supposedly, the current mechanic will be there in the morning to document his portion of the work and the IA, afterwards. If there are notations that you need to make, shouldn't those entries be made prior to your predecessor's entries? The plane and log books are at Hunt Pan Am at the Brownsville airport.
I apologize for putting this on the "public" forum, however, I'm holding everyone involved accountable for their role in my current situation. If you documented my log books, as the work progressed (as is standard procedure), your reputation and certification are not in jeopardy. If your work was not document, I would suggest you figure out how to do just that immediately. The phone number for Hunt Pan Am is 1-800-888-7524. Mr. Danny Perez is in charge of my log books and plane restoration.
