    I am done!

    I also posted this on facebook...

    Well I am done! I have someone wants my '41 as is and I am dumping it. I have been begging to get our STC holder/DER to sell me the approvals since 2007/2008 and for some reason he never had the time. I am so pissed that I haven't been able to fly since then, cost of storage in my hanger is now about the value of my airplane. I have bent over backwards to help people over the years and I feel like I have taken it in the shorts on my own airplane. You all feel free to email him about what I think of his customer service! Its not like I didnt offer to pay, I just needed a price. So maybe the new owner can deal with him. I am probably also not going to build any more valves or anything once the handles are gone. Now that I have the Lycoming mount I may STC a Lycoming or just go experimental.

      Sometimes Tim the "dog poop on new shoes" syndrome requires more new shoes. Sorry to hear about the conflict. Flying should be fun and not another life crisis.

        I feel your pain. I've had a similar problem with that same DER except that I'm $3600 poorer for it. I'm starting from scratch in another direction just like you. Good luck.
