Guys, I know a lot of you knew Josh Brehm. After he passed I ended up with the wreck of his plane and wanted to do the "back to original" restoration on her he had always talked about, but as you guys know I have a LOT of irons in the fire and not enough life left to do them all. I didn't want his plane to get a half a**s job as he always wanted her done up RIGHT.
I came across a gentleman on the west coast who restores planes for a museum there (a FLYING museum!) and his work is incredible. I donated all the paperwork for Josh's plane and any usable parts. I got word that Josh's plane is up for restoration and work has begun on her! They are looking for a good round wheel for the restoration and some pre war stick ribs.
Josh was a great guy and real Taylorcraft supporter making lots of the placards in many or our planes as well as throttle balls and many small parts. Anyone who can help out please speak up. This is a worthy cause for a great plane. 1940 Taylorcraft NC-24369.

I will try to pass on status as I get messages, hopefully with lots of photos.
