Does anyone know if the stock exhaust will fit with a C-90 using the -12 accessory case...using a starter but NO gen. I know the Luscombe exhaust is better just also thinking less modification the better also IMOH (not needing to move the gasculator ...extra butchering of the lower cowl etc..)

Do you know by how much, Tim? I have a stroker C85 on my UK 1946 BC12D, but with the original A-65 stainless exhaust still fitted (albeit with a small welded change to the "back straight" to make it fit the 85 cylinders).Originally posted by astjp2 View Post65 exhaust is narrower
There is no way in this or any other world I would fit a non-Taylorcraft type exhaust, but if I had one made of larger internal diameter, would that help my stroker "breathe" more easily?
(not that it needs to really...the performance upgrade on the engine alone is astounding!)
Thanks,
Rob
