I cover the inside of the floor above the gear area. It helps cut down on drafts in the cabin.Originally posted by Hank Jarrett View PostWow! Those are NICE ones. Remember you are NOT supposed to trim off all the edges! They lay flat on the bottom of the fuselage. The flat square ones let a LOT of wind blow in.

never took any pics. biggest thing to do is to seal from the belly former to the floor tubing. I would cover the outside of the rear floor area between the gear legs to slow the air leaks. The triangle flller between the gear legs is just that, a filler. It doesn't seal crap. I would also install a soft rubber seal on the bungee covers to prevent as much air from coming as possible,Originally posted by astjp2 View Post
Mike, do you have any pics of how you cover the inside? I need to stop some of the fumes from coming up through the belly...Tim

Yes, Dave and Max make beautiful metal parts. This is one of my posts from several years ago, pictures and info of Wenglarz parts: https://vb.taylorcraft.org/forum/tay...david-wenglarzLast edited by M Towsley; 01-17-2019, 20:58.Cheers,
