Wasn't there a thread showing the steps of gear covering with lots of pics? I tried searching. Do you AK guy's just cover the belly triangle, and if so how do you transition to the open gear triangle?

There is suppose to be a solid wire 1/8" maybe 3/16" diameter between the leg mounts toward the bottom side. The lower fabric goes over the top of the wire to form the inside triangles and the wire is taped over. This also allows the top half of the fabric to tuck under the gear mount and have access to the nuts on the mounts. If you don't cover the leg, just cover to that wire.Originally posted by 1938BF50 View PostWasn't there a thread showing the steps of gear covering with lots of pics? I tried searching.
