If you have a couple of minutes at 11 o'clock tomorrow morning, then may I recommend spending them in remembering the losses during the great war. Tomorrow is the 100th anniverary of the signing of the armistice.

as you're probably aware, we also observe Remembrance day in Canada. It has become the day of remembrance for veterans of the "great war" and all other military conflicts.

Likewise here too, Scott, it has become a rememberance for the fallen of all conflicts.

We were fortunate to have a very nice Veterans Day week tribute to all those who served and are serving. And would like to share it.

This past week for Veterans day the WWI National Museum and Memorial was lit at night by a 55 million pixel projection of poppies and a brief video on WWI. The poppies projection was in motion and the video was shown on the middle of the lower wall.

The night photos attached are looking south. The day photo looks north to city center. The museum is under the memorial tower and the flanking shrouded Sphinx's and memorial rooms.

The museum is well into "Smithsonian Class" and memorial as well, Yes you can go up the tower to the look out ring. There is steam piped to the top with a red light symbolizing an eternal flame which is on all the time. I highly recommend a visit.
