The TG-6 and the TG-8 are both very nice...worth the trip to Oshkosh to see them. Scott's Taylorcraft CF-CLR is an amazing restoration, if you are Oshkosh be sure to look it over. Nice speaking with you Scott.

They flew the TG6 in the airshow this evening. I wouldn't mind a ride or flight, after all I added a commercial glider rating to my pilot ceetificateearlier this summer.

The guy in the blue shirt, yellow hat in the pictures above is Robin Reid. His mother was Amelia Reid, she was quite the pilot and had amassed an unbelievable amount of hours, lot of them teaching in T-Crafts. Robin ferried my L-2B to me about 11 years ago and is a great guy. Hopefully we can visit him in Oregon and catch a flight in the TG-6 someday.
A bunch of our Taylorcraft stuff came from Amelia Reid many many moons ago when she quit teaching in them.

I was a little disappointed I didn't get a chance to meet some of the Taylorcrafters at Oshkosh this year. But with the last minute trip, having 3 young boys camping out, 3 days at Kidventure earning 3 hours of A&P experience and tool kits, 1 day + at the kids Ford exhibits, and 40 miles of walking around looking, I just didn't get the chance to see everything or anyone.
