We are going to make it. Any advice on choice camping spots at Oshkosh for 1st time non-generator tent campers? Last time we stayed in a hotel in Appleton, but the kids want to camp, which is Ok with my pocketbook. I'm thinking of booking the campsite tonight to reserve a spot but not sure where. Near the flight line, trees, or loo? Do they run out of space for tent campers?

Packed the kids special addition Kilz Garmin emergency relief device (KGERF) if we are out in the sticks at 2400Z.

Walter, we will be at Circle R sometime Sunday afternoon. If you see a maroon Ford F-150 with license plate MT, that's us.
          Cheers,
          Marty

Maybe in a couple years I'll be able to bring one of my L-2's instead but that would be a long haul from Houston.

Missed a chance going up in the TG-6, had to return home prior to it flying tomorrow. It is a fantastic restoration.

The guy in the blue shirt, yellow hat in the pictures above is Robin Reid. His mother was Amelia Reid, she was quite the pilot and had amassed an unbelievable amount of hours, lot of them teaching in T-Crafts. Robin ferried my L-2B to me about 11 years ago and is a great guy. Hopefully we can visit him in Oregon and catch a flight in the TG-6 someday.
