  • Going to give away one of my secrets

Throw away the cardboard glove boxes. Bonanza glove boxes are a perfect fit. I have done this with every "B" model I have built for the last 25 years. I have a few new boxes left I will sell here after I give the Beech guys a crack at them for a few days.

Wow! Those look NICE! What are they made of? Got a part number and source?

    Hank

You still need to be sure to secure the back end to the diagonal tube to prevent them from ever getting caught on the aileron chain sprocket. REALLY scarry when the sprocket gets caught and you can't pull back on the control wheel!

They are aluminum and flocked on the inside. There is multiple part numbers for them, they just have to be the earlier ones with the fold down doors on them, not the side open doors.

                        Mike,

The glove boxes are great. Very nice and the flocking is a nice addition. Very well made, amazingly lightweight and probably would cost $1,000 from Beech knowing how parts prices are. Thanks again!
                        Cheers,
                        Marty

No problem. The latest pricing I have seen on them, they are around $400 each.

Amazing for only $400 for a Beech part. Your price is well worth it, very nice item. How do you brace the back end on your intalls?
                            Cheers,
