  • Washington State to North Carolina

    Tribe,
Thank you all for all your kind help and advise over the years.
Have met a great couple ( Jim & Karen Reynolds ) who just bought a real nice TAYLORCRAFT N96688 , 6 from the museum in Port Townsend, Wa.
They are on their way to N.C.
Now here at KLS. Will be enroure soon.
Please give them a hand if you can should they
pass your way. You will be Blessed!

    Now, for me.
I have a deal going to swap my two planes (46 Bc12d & 72 C-150L) for a C-195. So guys guess I'm leaning that way.
Has not been finalised, but getting close.

    Time Marches On!

As they just bought their TAYLORCRAFT, I don't think they know who is who on the site. Any help one may offer them would grand!
Email said they were on the ground due to the winds in Ogden.

                            David:

Back in Sept 2015 we did Rock Springs to Brigham City UT, so sounds like Mr & Mrs Reynolds are doing the reciprocal to our 2015 course! I hope they are experienced at High DA take-offs...Rock Springs is at 6760MSL. Rawlins WY (just east of Rock Springs) has a convinient pilot's lounge (and courtesy car) if they are looking for somewhere to overnight), but is higher at 6800MSL and with shorter runway.

I hope they don't take my good intentions as teaching granny.

                              Rob,
They took your advise. Still Ogden, planning for Provo, Utah and then to Cortez, Colorado.
As they have only basic phone and email, they've asked me to post for them untill they get home.
As Senior Citizens, their desire to fly a BC12D coast to coast in amazing.

                              More later.
