Between 200' and 500' altitude over Bayou Magazille. No place to land for miles. To lose an engine at this point means getting wet.

I've got lots of 2016 pictures from trips to the arctic and around wew3stern NY but I can't figure out how to post them. Help.

Late spring evening 2016, on a lakebed near Mojave.

LOVE the short fin and wide rudder! With that tail and the early short nose she just LOOKS RIGHT!

Breaking around the clouds to find the Mt Morris, NY Dam and Letchworth Gorge (Grand Canyon of the East). Clouds were in the way of getting a good shot of the large water falls with train and trestle above them.

Thanks Hank. I couldn't agree more.

Since the calendar has rolled into 2017 today I checked my log book and see that I've flown her more than 30 hours since last April. Thats a bunch of flying considering I have not ventured farther than a 10 mile radius of my home since then - and it is far more annual use than this ship has seen since the 1940's.

                    Happy new year everyone.

You do know that any hours flying a plane like that don't count against your scheduled hours of life don't you? Fly more, live longer!

Sorry it's not a picture, I may try to get some stills. Some nice flying the Niagara Falls VFR route this summer.

It is a shame that you will have to wait until next year to post that picture of you and your dad.

For some reason I cannot post pictures on here. When I try it keeps asking for a URL rather than the file/pic. I'm probably doing something to cause an I D 10 T or idiot error. :-)
