Does anyone have a drawing or photos of the parking brake installation at the firewall/brake pedals?

Re: Parking Brake
Look at the pictures in this thread, Greg. Hope it helps. Also, Rob Lees' UK Taylorcraft rebuild page is really helpful, some of the pictures are his.
Cheers,

Re: Parking Brake
It looks like you may be missing the little nub that the end of the parking brake cable goes in. On the small tube that goes forward from the brake pedals there should be a 1/2-3/4" long small diameter tube welded parallel to the side of it to hold the cable end. Every place else the cable os just tied to the airframe with lacing.

These help a lot. I really did try to do a search but this string never came up? I did find a string that had a great link to Shinn Wheel maintenance and brake lining replacement! In the process of overhauling a new (old) set of wheels complete with new races and linings. As soon as I have them back together I will also be installing a set of NOS wheel pants I obtained last year. Will post pictures after they're on.Greg House
