Who here has put an O-200 kidney tank on a short mount? How was the fit? Tim

The interference is shown in one picture with the little support arm, mount bolts are not tight, the interference would prevent tightening, tank is not tight but in correct placement.

My other 0-200 tank does not have the little support arms at the neck so it likely does not interfere.

Dave, since that is the 65/85 mount, the o-200 would move it 5/8" forward, it should clear, right? Tim

That makes sense and I agree. It is still set up. Later today I'll fake a 5/8" recess and verify it though.

I have C90 case too but was thinking you were using an A65 so I used that case. I may try the c90 case.

Is not that the same as an O-200 case?

I think it depends on the - number. IIRC the -14 has the same mounting as the 0-200.

The 4.5 Qt tank that is on my c85-12 had the support arms off the flange and to get it to clear we cut one off and had the clearance we needed.

Tim it has lots of clearance when you insert another 5/8" between the mount and the case.

Now I just need to see how much clearance between the starter and generator pad and the firewall.....Thinking B&C starter and Plane Power 1 wire alternator....with the #3 wicks ultra lightweight battery mounted on the firewall....
