    Spam attack may bwe in progress

    Looks like someone got hold of my email list and is sending out spam under my name. You guys know me well enough to know if I send a message I WILL have some text in the message. If you get a message with just "Re" or no subject, or a message with no text IT IS NOT COMING FROM MY COMPUTER, DON'T open the attachment!
    Alerting Cox Communications they have a server problem this morning.

      Hank,I had one this morning early from your computer .It said no subject,I opened it and then deleted as I knew it wasn't from you by then.

        Hank, the first thing I do when I think there is a problem is reset my password. If it is just a hacked email address that might fix it.

          Just did a diagnostic myself (no issues) and then had Cox do a full check. They found some minor efficiency issues they corrected but the messages are NOT coming from my machine. It looks like someone got into the Cox server and got peoples email lists. You guys know I yack a lot so if you see a message from me where I don't put a subject in or don't say anything in the text box IT IS NOT ME! DON'T open any links!
          My machine was just checked as clean but I changed all of the passwords just to be safe. Be careful out there!

          One of the links a friend (not on the group) got was for a French site for brewing beer at home. He liked it, but it is funny since I know NOTHING about beer except how to open the bottles and don't speak or read French. ;-)

          French beer? I didn't even know they drank beer in France. The Germans must have given them a taste for it on one of their "visits".

            The reason why the Champs-Élysées is tree-lined is so that the Germans can march in the shade.

            I know I am on Hank's email, yet I haven't received any dodgy emails from his Cox account. I feel left out!
