  • Brake conversion on L2

The L2 brake assemblies are the same Shinn mechanical type used n the BC12. Is there a conversion available for hydraulics for an L2/BC12 using the original tapered axles? I realize that a field approval may be required if an STC is not available.

Bob, I'm having trouble getting field approval for a hydraulic brake conversion. I was hoping to hear if guys were having any luck since the FAA promised to consider such things again.
