    Re: Need Ercoupe cans

    Marty,
Probably need to take the newsletter conversation to a new thread or off line. Pretty far off topic for an ignition noise thread. ;-)
What we will need is an input from the newsletter owners as to if they have a problem with scanning the old ones (the new ones will BE old ones by the time we get to them).

          Marty:

I agree with you to consolidate topics to avoid random searches and pick up bits and pieces here and there, but still is a learning experience to read all the different postings on the different topics. I spend time each day reading different posts.

This forum is just an ever expanding encyclopedia of recorded knowledge posted by all owners willing to unselfishly share their day to day experiences as well as their interest to help each other.

          Thanks to all

But Hank, I like the bumps. As close as I will ever come to a radial with a bumped cowl. Mine has the bumps and unsheilded wires. go figure. At least I will be ready when I have get brave enough to spend the coins for new mags.

                Re: Need Ercoupe cans

                OK.
Got two used Slicks in good shape and 4 used cans. Two cans came without the top. Any one has two tops to spare? or will have to fabricate them somehow.

Now I'm looking for the shielded harness and the REM37BY. Any help?. Fresno has them, nothing on ebay/bstormers so far

We are slowly getting there. The CASE mags continue to work..barely, I'm not flying too far away from home base.

                Thanks all for the help.
