Somebody needs to jump on that puppy!!! If you get it DO NOT open it up!!!! The glass is VERY easy to crack and impossible to replace! It probably also has bits of Radium paint in it from being without fluid and the paint chips are VERY toxic. It is WORTH sending to a good repair shop and having it professionally decontaminated and redone.
Whoever buys it post here and you will get good advice on how to safely use it!

I will add my endorsement for Keystone. They cast a bit more, take a bit longer, but the quality was PERFECT! I will also agree about the Radium. It can set off radiation sensors and you DON'T want to contact it. The paint inside can be VERY toxic. Keystone has the people and equipment to do it right. Talk to UPS and FedEx abut shipping. I took mine in withthe box open so they could see it and they marked teh box so if it DID set off an alarm the whole building wouldn't go to General Quarters.

The one in the photo above is in my 41 now. Photo taken after straightening, taking out the dents and damage and stripping the paint. This is what I started with.
Yes, the front face of the compass is off. DON'T DO THAT!!! It was loose when I got it and it is VERY easy to put the screws in wrong and crack the glass. You CAN NOT get replacement glass. I tried clear up to the contractors for NASA telescopes and no one would touch it, for ANY price.
