  • Wanted to buy Aileron pushrod ball socket

While rebuilding my BC12D I managed to shoot one of the ball sockets across the shop/ I have looked high and low with no luck. If anyone has one to spare I am interested in purchasing it.Any leads will be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Tom

I’m sitting here with Tim (astjp2). He said he has one and will get back to you.

do you need the long or short one? There are 2 different lengths for the threads, the aileron side is the long, and they used either the long or short one on the bellcrank side. Cast aluminum bellcrank may have been the long one.

If it helps anyone, here is a photo of the broken-down assemblies. As Tim says, the ball joints have different thread lengths. 1946 BC12-D

                Guys,
Thanks for looking. You can cancel the request. After three days of searching I found it on the other side of shop. I'd rather be lucky than good.

Since you found yours, I'll throw a shameless plug out there that I need a complete assembly as well!
